Ingredients
- the ingredients below are for a quick and dirty version - see scan below for alternatives
- tin of chickpeas
- tin of spinach
- 300ml water (maybe less)
- 4 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tsp salt
- 50g butter
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
Method
- put all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil.
- Simmer for 15 minutes or longer - don't let it dry out or add too much water to become soupy.
- Eat hot, or allow to cool, or chill as suggested below.
