Ingredients

100g butter + extra for greasing the waffle iron
300g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla sugar (optional)
500ml skimmed milk

Method

  1. Turn on waffle iron to heat up.
  2. Mix the melted butter and milk into the dry ingredients.
  3. Brush waffle iron with the extra butter and add ladle of batter. Cook until golden brown and a little crispy.
